Drafts of email contents to use when responding to individual clients requesting personal record translations, etc. Must be adapted to the practices of your translation business but is a helpful starting point and conforms to common English language professional language for use with clients in the United States.
This document contains a table with the email contents I send to individual clients who reach out to me for translation of their personal records. I receive several of these emails each week so it saves me time having to rewrite the emails all the time. There are 5 email drafts from the initial “Please send me your files” email to the final delivery of their translation. I included notes about how to use or adapt the email contents on the right-hand column. You will need to adapt this to your business practices but I hope you find the templates helpful as a starting point! You can also take the templates and translate them to other languages for use with clients who don’t speak English.
