This script automatically pastes text you establish in advance when you hit CTRL+J on your keyboard. You must have the free software Autohotkey downloaded (see instructions below).
Description
This ahk file can be used in conjunction with the free software Autohotkey. The “script” automatically pastes a pre-established set of characters/text that you establish when you hit CTRL+SHIFT+c on your keyboard.
I use this script to save time by adding lines of text that I type very frequently, such as “[Translator’s note: Handwritten text is indicated in italics.]” — there, I just pasted that using CTRL+J! Set up the script with a few lines of text you use often or words that are hard to spell, and establish a shortcut for each one to save you time. You can keep the “translator’s note” text I have included in this AHK file or use it as a template to create your own.
