This is a tax reporting spreadsheet I use to report information to my accountant at tax time. It is based on usage in the United States and includes 8 tabs for various information that I often need to report, like retirement contributions, business expenses, income, and contractor payments. Everything is anonymized so it does not contain any actual tax information and is not intended to be tax or financial advice. Buyers can use this as a template/format to begin creating their own spreadsheet to save time at tax time. Each year I make edits to the spreadsheet and I find that it saves me time trying to remember what I have to report and collecting information. I have annotated the spreadsheet with notes to buyers about how to use the sheet and helpful tips. I send the spreadsheet itself, along with folders containing my 1099s and other receipts, to my accountant directly via a shared Google Drive folder.
